Pokemon Sun Hairstyles

Male Hairstyles – Pokemon Sun and Moon Pokemon Sun and Moon lets you choose between a male and female protagonist at the start of the game, but you won’t get any other character customization options. To change your eye color, clothes, and hair, you’ll have to visit various shops around the Alola region. If you’re looking for a new hairstyle, then a salon is the place for you. These can be found in most cities, recognizable by the scissors logo out front. For 5000 Pokemon dollars, you get a new hairstyle and hair color. If you just want a hairstyle change, it’s 4000, and it’s 2000 for just a change in color. You won’t be able to preview any of the styles before you buy, though, so to avoid you needing to test out all the options (at the expense of your wallet), here are all of the male hairstyles available. If you’re looking for all of the female hairstyles, you can check all seven of them out over here. Pokemon Sun and Moon – Changing Hairstyles Just like in Pokemon X and Y, Sun and Moon will let you change up your character’s hairstyle and color as well. To do this, you’ll have to look for a salon. There’s usually one to be found in every town you visit. The salons are easily recognized by the giant scissors logo sitting outside of the building. Here, you can choose to either change your hairstyle, hair color, or both. It’ll cost you 5000 Poke Dollars to change both style and color, 2000 for just a color change, and 4000 for just a haircut. You’ll have to pay up front before you actually get to make the changes. Furthermore, you won’t actually be able to preview your hair changes until it’s actually done. If you don’t like the way your hair turned out, you’ll have to shell out more Poke Dollars to make further adjustments to your hair. Once you’re happy with how your hair has turned out, the hairdresser will take a new ID photo and upload it to your online profile for you. Be sure to match your hairstyles and colors with your clothing for the best fashion results. For a look at each of the hairstyles you can get, check out this guide before you buy them! Pokémon site Serebii has a giant gallery of the male clothing options available in Pokémon Sun and Moon, but YouTuber BeardBear has all the same info in a YouTube video, too. Again, there’s a lot to choose from, so it’s a bit on the long side, but that’s the price you pay for fashion.

It’s a true fact that the better you look in video games, the better you perform. I know people who know people who have confirmed this. And thus, my desire to always look good in video games is ever-present. Which means the newly released Pokémon Sun and Moon games are about to get hit with a major wave of handsome.

Last but not least, let’s talk about clothing. YouTuber BeardBear uploaded a great video that showcases every female clothing option in Pokémon Sun and Moon. Each article of clothing has several variations, so there’s a lot to go through. I guess it’s nice to have options?

I don’t know about you, but when a game gives me several ways to customize my character, I tend to get a bit side-tracked from the actual story and spend hours figuring out how to make my character look good. It’s a bit of a problem, and the new Pokémon Sun and Moon games don’t do anything to help cure me of it.

As you can see, the game offers a fairly standard color palette for hair. And while there’s nothing wrong with that, I wouldn’t mind seeing options expanded in an update. After all, my Pokémon GO character has some kickass purple hair, why not have it in these games, too? Until then, there are still more ways to customize your look that will surely keep me busy.

A redditor called twoduy uploaded a giant chart with many of the female hairstyle options, including their respective bang options and whether they’re compatible with hats. The post notes that some hairstyles — like pigtails — are not included in the chart because they have yet to unlock them, but keep an eye on that Reddit post for when it’s updated.

Males have slightly more options for hair colors than females, but then again, they don’t have the option to adjust bangs the way female characters do. As with the female colors and styles, I like the options we have but am hopeful we’ll see more added in future updates to Sun and Moon. While I wait for that, though, there are a lot more styles to keep me interested.
